Gospel and Hymns
I love Gospel, Traditional Hymns, Country and Contemporary Spiritual Music. I mostly like variety. It’s kind of like, - I like nature, but don’t want to spend all my life looking at one variety of trees.
If I had my way, no song would ever be sung in church - without first explaining what the song was about. Even the songs we’ve sung all our lives can become just a ritual we go through. Ritual can and unfortunately, in some cases, does become the object of our corporate worship!
I change the words on public domain hymns to fit what I believe is easier to understand with today’s change of language. No music is sinful as long as the participants are God and self.
